In order to qualify for The Mix/ Thermomix® Assistive Technology from the NDIS, you must meet the reasonable and necessary criteria. To see if you qualify, you need to firstly ask these questions:
The NDIS only supports technology or adaptations that help participants with activities that they cannot do now and that are directly related to their disability.
The NDIS considers the barriers that are preventing you from pursuing your goals and takes into consideration how the technology can benefit your day-to-day life.

Taking into account the benefits technology can provide, the NDIS conducts their own assessment of each product to ensure that it is the right product for you.
Applications for NDIS funded Thermomix® products go through a process to deem whether the product is a reasonable and necessary purchase on the plan.
